Rose Pruning with Mike and Angelina Chute
Rose Pruning with Mike and Angelina Chute
Saturday | April 16
10 – 11:30 AM
A garden of well-tended roses with a full flush of color in June starts with careful pruning in early spring. Spring pruning builds strong, healthy roses, increases flower production, and is the first defense against insects and diseases. Join master rosarians, Mike and Angelina Chute, in the Blithewold Rose Garden and learn the best way to prune roses with their instructive and entertaining step-by-step program. They will be available to sign copies of their books, Rose Gardening Season by Season: A Journal for Passionate Gardeners and Roses for New England: A Guide to Sustainable Rose Gardening after the demonstration.
