We had an exciting day at camp with our first special guest: Clean Ocean Access! They are an organization out of Middletown that helps to clean the ocean around Adquineck Island and surrounding towns. They taught us today about the watershed and how pollution from our neighborhoods can affect it. The campers made a 2-D poster to represent it and interacted with a 3-D model. The campers relaxed inside by playing Sleeping Wizards before lunch. Then after lunch, they participated in a water relay to see who could get the most pool noodles. We will see how many dragons, knights, and princesses we get tomorrow for medieval day! Check out today’s photos below.
