We had a lovely day today without being very hot until the late afternoon. We started the day with an art class with Ms. Joanne. She taught the campers about the Great Wave painting and had them paint their own. She taught them how to overlap colors and blend them. The campers used a mix of crayons and watercolors to make their art. After art, we had a snack and played some freeze tag. We then went back to make flags for our capture the flag, which we would play after lunch. The campers had an awesome time playing! To end our day, we went back to camp to make cards for one of the counselors who stayed home today. We hope that he will be back tomorrow for water games! See the Great Wave photos below!
