Today at camp, it was much cooler. We started the day by making cards for the CIT community service project for first responders. Then, we headed over to the veggie garden to meet Ms. Becca, where the campers tried a lot of new foods. They were able to pick carrots and found the pumpkin patch. On the way back from the veggie garden, we were surprised to find a hawk who stayed on the path to catch its prey. The campers played some games near the bamboo forest before we went inside. We separated into teams to play Capture the Flag by making our flags. We had lunch and free play, then read a quick story to cool down. After that, it was time for the big game of Capture the Flag. Some of the campers played for their first time and they all did a great job! Tomorrow is Western Day, so don’t forget your cowboy boots! Take a look at everything from today!
