We almost escaped the rain. We started the day by making potatoes out of construction paper. Then, we headed to the veggie garden to meet Ms. Becca. This week we picked radishes, and we were able to try the newly grown cabbage. We were going to stay longer by the garden to play Shark and Minnows, but it started to rain. We went back to camp early to start our lesson on fairytales. We read the fairy tale The Three Billy Goats Gruff to help us think about the details of a fairytale. After that, the campers got to write and draw their fairytale story. Once they finished we went outside to have lunch and free play. The rain stopped in the afternoon so we played our long-awaited game of Capture the Flag. The campers did a great job! Tomorrow will be Pirate Day! Take a look at the pictures below!
