Valentine’s Day roundup
I don’t know about you but another dumping of winter white that turned almost immediately to slushy gray has my eyes crying out for spring. As luck would have it (and by luck I mean a perfectly timed winter bloomer, and a warmish greenhouse), it’s all hearts and flowers here at Blithewold. Despite the weather. Though the witch hazel (above) is more tightly curled than usual…
In other news, you probably noticed that the blog is going through some changes… I am thrilled to welcome another author! The Notes from the Archives blog, written by Margaret Whitehead was folded into this one yesterday. Click here to catch up on all of Margaret’s past posts about the past and keep your eyes out for new stories about the family and the treasure trove of Blithewold’s archives. As for the blog’s updated look, I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with a very enthusiastic and capable communications intern named Kelly from Roger Williams University. She has been patiently making endless tweaks and adjustments to the blog’s “skin,” while Dan and I do our best to learn its new tricks. So stay tuned and please let us know what you think of it all. Kelly also set Blithewold up with a brand new Instagram account and I hope you’ll check that out too.
Have a Happy Valentine’s Day full of hearts and flowers!
