It has been a busy month of blooms here at Blithewold. With 93 Daffodil (Narcissus) cultivars in bloom across the property over 6 weeks, it would be tough to capture them all! I have instead created a visual tasting menu of the flowers for you here. If you have visited, you may remember many of these. If you haven’t visited, there are still varieties in stunning bloom! It’s not too late. 

Here is my teaser for you. 

The three above were some of the first to greet visitors upon their arrival to Blithewold. They were preceded by several other lovely daffodils in the Visitor Center gardens. One of which was one of my favorites, ‘Kapiti Peach’. 

The next few are particularly special varieties that always draw the eye.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the wonderful Daffodil Show we hosted here a couple weeks ago. There were many entrants and the show was a great success!
