New Class! This class will cover acrylic painting on small canvases. Acrylic paint is an opaque, water-based paint that can be used in washes and layers to achieve rich tonal values. Working from photos and still life, different techniques and color theory will be covered. Students will paint a small canvas each week. The goal of the class is to become comfortable with painting and a free approach to completing a work. Materials will be provided. Topics covered will be landscapes, seascapes, flowers, and still-life objects.
Beginner to experienced students are encouraged to attend.
Registration is required. Class size is limited to 12.
