This year at Blithewold we are growing sixteen varieties of lotus. This class will focus on the culture of lotus  their soil, light, and nutrient needs. We will talk about how to select and use containers and how to incorporate them into a garden. This is the perfect follow-up class to our spring water-garden session. We will go out into the garden and look at the different varieties, how they have been planted, and how they have done. They are beautiful and unusual plants that with the right knowledge are not difficult to grow.
