Walk up the beautiful staircase at Blithewold, past the Brokaw clock, to the gallery landing. We will visit the master bedroom to see its hand-painted wallpaper and the newly restored marquetry furniture; Augustine’s bedroom with its charming wallpaper of “pretty birds and grasses”; and the Stickley room to see the rare collection of Stickley’s green stained furniture. In the south wing you will see the sewing room with its nineteenth-century single-thread sewing machine, Estelle Clements’ bedroom, and Marjorie Lyon’s bedroom featuring the four-poster bed made for her from very old carved panels – including one with the Medici crest.
