Familiar Places in Autumn Splendor
Friday, November 1, 2019 | |
Walking through the arboretum this week I’ve tried to take it all in. All my familiar views of Blithewold’s landscape have a majestic beauty about them with colorful foliage embracing the sight. These settings harmonize together with an assortment of fall colors above in the trees and below blanketing the ground. The trees especially seem to embrace the statues, wellheads, and pathways to complement each other. There is a pleasant scent of fallen tree leaves and a sound of a soft crunch underfoot which adds to the sensory feel. It is truly therapeutic to take a walk among so much fall beauty.
Don’t miss the familiar places that look magical draped in autumn splendor.
