Week Five, Day Two: All About Animals
A genuine day of New England weather! We started the day inside doing art with Ms. Joanne. The campers drew a picture from the perspective of them looking down at the beach or the garden. They traced their feet and colored their shoes. Then we had a snack. While the rain was still going on, we talked about what the word anatomy meant and what makes up animal anatomy. The campers split into three groups to do a separate animal anatomy puzzle. Then the rain was gone! We went outside to have lunch and free play. Next, we walked to the frog pond to do some bug hunting. The campers identified the bugs they caught with the camp bug encyclopedia. Finally, we headed back to camp for story time and campfire. We’ll be playing everyone’s favorite game tomorrow. See the photos from today!
