The first day of camp was a blast! We started by making hand-print mice. Then we all learned our names before heading outside. We had snacks and free play before doing some parachute games. With the parachute, we played cat and mouse and popcorn. Then we went inside to read Town Mouse Country Mouse before lunch. The campers had a lot of fun during free play at lunch with our CITs. Then we went to the mansion for a tour. The campers were very enthusiastic about learning all the facts in the mansion. We ended the day doing the camp journals, where the campers wrote about their favorite part of the day. We will be playing water games tomorrow with the hot temperatures ahead.
