Week One, Day Two: Sliding into Summer

Today was so much fun! We started the day by making paper plate guitars. The campers had a lot of fun decorating them with markers. Then, we went outside for snack time and free play. Two of the CITs lead the clip game with all of the campers. Then we went inside to read a story about the famous guitarist Jimi Hendrix. We learned how he would listen to music and see many different colors as he heard. After we read the story, the campers listened to a song and drew what they thought about as they listened. Then we had lunch and got ready for water games. The campers loved water games. We had a brand new splash pad they tested out by sliding. There will be more water games to look forward to tomorrow. Check out the wet and wild photos from today!
